Jim heads the firm’s Environmental Law practice and advises clients on a broad range of environmental and real estate law matters. He assists clients with environmental permitting and regulatory matters, environmental due diligence in connection with transactions and financings, as well as advice on environmental and climate-related risks, sustainability regulation and regulatory compliance. Jim has particular experience advising on energy, infrastructure and real estate development projects, including environmental permitting, protected species and Natura 2000 issues, planning and zoning matters, and land access. He also has extensive experience in matters relating to water and wastewater law, waste management, environmental damages and contaminated land liability.

Jim also represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings and has extensive experience in complex disputes relating to construction projects, insurance, compensation under the Swedish Environmental Code, contaminated land and water, and regulatory compliance.
