Cederquist advises Vattenfall in connection with the acquisition of Nima Energy’s ultra-fast charging business

Cederquist has advised Vattenfall in connection with its agreement to acquire Nima Energy’s Swedish ultra-fast charging business.

The acquisition comprises 178 existing ultra-fast charging points and 254 planned charging points. It will strengthen Vattenfall InCharge’s public charging network, particularly in the Stockholm and Malmö metropolitan areas.

Nima Energy was founded in 2020 and develops and operates high-capacity fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Sweden.

Cederquist’s team was led by Carl-Johan Deuschl and Martin Ulfson (Partners, private M&A), together with Jonas Sjöberg (Senior Associate, private M&A), Sara Jafri and Carolina Elgemyr (Associates, private M&A), with support from other specialists and associates at the firm.
