Cederquist and Dilenta set out to rethink the due diligence process

Cederquist enters into a partnership with the AI startup Dilenta through the firm’s incubator TeCQ Hub. The collaboration aims to challenge established ways of working and explore how AI can transform the virtual data room and the wider due diligence process.

Virtual data rooms are an essential part of modern transactions, but the way they are used has remained largely unchanged in recent years. Despite advances in AI and digital collaboration, many processes still involve significant amounts of repetitive administration and manual work.

Dilenta is developing an AI-powered virtual data room for M&A transactions, designed to create a smarter and more collaborative transaction environment by improving how information is structured, shared and managed throughout the process.

– The due diligence process is at the centre of M&A transactions, yet many of the underlying workflows have seen limited development. We believe there is a real opportunity to rethink how the different parties collaborate, allocate work and manage information. Through the partnership, Cederquist will contribute legal expertise and practical experience. Dilenta will work closely with the firm’s lawyers to develop, test and refine its solution in an M&A context.
