Cederquist continues to grow and is now strengthening its offering in foreign direct investments (FDI) and EU and competition law by appointing Sanna Frånlund as a new partner.
Sanna Frånlund has been part of Cederquist’s EU and competition law practice group since 2017 and specialises in EU and competition law, regulatory processes and foreign direct investment control.
– We are delighted and proud to welcome Sanna as a new partner. Sanna is a highly skilled adviser and a valued colleague with a strong commitment to our clients and to the firm as a whole. The regulatory burden for our companies is becoming increasingly complex and concrete, in a transactional context as well as in the daily compliance work. By appointing Sanna as a partner, we strengthen Cederquist’s offering in this area, in the short and long term, says Maja Wettergren, Managing Partner at Cederquist.
– It is exciting and engaging to step into the partnership. There is a lot going on in my areas of expertise, a developing competition law regime, an increasing number of security policy regulations affecting the transactional landscape and changes to regulatory requirements in several sectors. I look forward to contributing to the continuous development of Cederquist’s offering in these areas. Having been with the firm for almost ten years, I find it particularly rewarding to be able to continue building on Cederquist’s strong position and participate in the development of the firm going forward in the role as partner, says Sanna Frånlund.
Sanna Frånlund assumed her position as a new partner on 1 January 2026.
