Maja Wettergren appointed new Managing Partner at Cederquist

Cederquist has appointed Maja Wettergren as the firm’s new Managing Partner. She succeeds Tone Myhre-Jensen, who has held the role since 2016.

Maja Wettergren joined Cederquist in 2005 and has been a partner in the firm’s private M&A practice since 2011. She is one of Sweden’s leading lawyers in private M&A and has been a member of the board of the Swedish Bar Association since 2025. Maja will assume the role of Managing Partner at Cederquist on 21 November.

– I am looking forward to stepping into the role as Managing Partner. Together with the firm’s fantastic employees, I intend to continue building on the strong position that Cederquist has achieved under Tone’s leadership, says Maja Wettergren.

Maja succeeds Tone Myhre-Jensen, who announced earlier this year that she is stepping down from the role and will focus on developing the firm’s Corporate Advisory offering going forward.
